I'm back in the Caribbean and having another engaging conversation with the talented British born and Vincentian raised, Dr. Arusha Campbell-Chambers. Dr Campbell-Chambers is a highly accomplished Dermatologist who founded the Dermatology Solutions Skin, Body & Mind Clinic in Jamaica and St.Vincent. She trained at the University of the West-Indies, Mona and the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, King’s College London, where she graduated with Merit. Indeed throughout her life, Dr. Campbell-Chambers always excelled, gaining many awards and honours. These include graduating “Student of the year” at the Kingstown Preparatory School, Island Scholar of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Linda and Harvey Gellman Award for Excellence in Pre-Clinical Studies and the Stiefel Prize for Excellence in Clinical Dermatology.
Her special interest in Cosmetic Dermatology blossomed over the years with extensive training in the UK, USA and Caribbean. She is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She is a recognized leader in her field and is the current Vice-President of the Dermatology Association of Jamaica.
Driven by a passion for uplifting, educating others and philanthropy, she launched the “Love the Skin You’re In” School campaign. She has given many lectures locally, regionally and internationally and is published in newspapers, magazines and medical journals. Her lectures, television interviews and articles are shared on many global websites.
Dr. Campbell-Chambers is honoured to live her God-given purpose of empowering and evangelizing to women. She co-founded the Arise and Blossom Women’s Organisation with her mom. She realized the fulfilment of her vision of establishing the Arise and Blossom Women’s Conference: ‘Empowering Women, Transforming lives” and a “Dress for Success” charitable event consisting of a Fashion Forum, Fashion show and Free store. Dr. Campbell-Chambers leads the Women of Influence’s Ministry at the Trumpet Call Ministries International (TCMI) church in Jamaica. She is happily married to Consultant Jamaican Radiologist Dr. Duane Chambers and proud mother of their daughters Tiffany and Tia Chambers.
