Our conversation was highly topical, given the narrative around women being forced out of careers. As a woman of many hats Andrea shares her experiences and the mindset that allowed her to be unafraid to pivot careers and lean in to finding joy in her career.

Safiya Olugbala is the Founder & CEO of WE CODE CARIBBEAN. An NGO based in Trinidad, that focuses on inspiring youth, particularly girls and children from rural communities, to get involved and excited about STEAM FM and STEM related fields.
The ambition of the organization is to equip 21st Century digital natives, with the requisite tools to be absolutely disruptive. The work of the organization is centered around the empowerment of pioneers who are daring enough to solve problems within the region and globally.
Safiya has spent over twenty years as an Educator in the area of English language and literature. She has studied at the University of the West Indies reading for a degree in Literatures of English with a minor in psychology. Then a Master's degree in Educational Psychology at the University of the Southern Caribbean.
Safiya is also the Founder of Mansa Musa Academy. An elementary homeschooling program that merges African concepts of community and scholarship with various aspects of technology and sustainability.

With an upbringing in Trinidad and Barbados, Pauline Joseph's company AC Marketing Caribbean was born out of her desire to make sense of the collision of cultures within while using digital to share her clients' stories.
The business model is centred around remotely working. From inception she never saw the need to rent an office; instead, used resources to build a digital infrastructure.
Her team is project-based, and works directly with clients to translate their requirements into content creation.
She is avid triathlete and participates in Ironman competitions and has so far completed the NYC and Shanghai races.

Chaneil Chazelle Imhoff is the founder of Packed Grocery Delivery - Antigua and Barbuda’s first Grocery Delivery Mobile App, owner and communications specialist at Avada Digital, mental health activist and Youth Member of Parliament for St. Peter in the National Youth Parliament Association of Antigua and Barbuda.
As a mental health advocate, Chaneil is the author of the Mental Health Bill in the National Youth Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda and is actively involved in Fundraising and Awareness Campaigns for Mental Health in Antigua and Barbuda.
Chaneil believes in the power of innovation and increasing the participation of women in leadership positions not only in politics and government but in STEAM and other male-dominated areas.
